Now and then there are extraordinary people who make an impact in our lives with their exceptional talents. This happens in all professions and in the music world we’ve had many who left us a legacy with their music which lingers for ever. The Caribbean nations of Guadeloupe/Martinique and Montserrat lost 2 of their greatest artists last month. Montserrat calypsonian and King of soca style Arrow the hit maker of the classic dancefloor blockbuster “Hot Hot Hot” and Guadeloupe’s Patrick St Eloi singer and a core member of the super group Kassav and maestro of the Zouk love style. On this edition of the show, this segment was a tribute to theses two giants of Caribbean music. Alphonsus Cassell a.k.a. Arrow, and Patrick St Eloi a.k.a. P.S.E . I had intended to begin this set with Arrow's original song 'hot hot hot', unfortunately i couldn't locate my copy. This is a remix cover of the song by a musician from Martinique.
